1- Download the latest Full Version KaoX Installer

Version 1.0.2 BETA (February 14th, 2023):

• OSX: Apple Silicon compatibility
• Protools: Potential crash fixed
• UI: Better CPU managment.

Version 1.0.1 (June 13th):

• 16 new factory presets recreating the original GS1 sounds.
• New features in the FM envelope that fit the original GS1 behavior better (percussion mode).
• CPU improvement in the FM Oscillator.
• The glide can now reach 0 ms (some factory presets have been updated).
• Windows: AAX plug-in now correctly installed.
• The first patch has been changed and works as expected when KaoX is launched.
• Hold pedal: The FM envelopes are now correctly triggered.
• Hold pedal: Working now as expected when the maximum number of voices is reached.
• Inconsistency of the GUI size is now fixed.

PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF KAOX

Note : KaoX can also uses the Soft Dongle Ilok Protection ( No hardware dongle required ). In case you choosed this version, you must download the Ilok installer.

Warning : KaoX is not a stand alone application, but a plug-in to be inserted into a music software application ( DAW ) like Cubase, Live, Logic etc See at the end of this page the links to some freeware VST hows that allow to play KaoX

Install tips on windows 7/8 and vista : After accepting the license agreement during the install process, you may have to browse your HDs to select valid user accessible folder ( ie one for wich you have access rights without having to log as admin ).The default folder is : c:/Users/Public/Documents/XILS-lab/KaoX

2- Download the latest DEMO Version of KaoX Installer

The KaoX Dongle/License free Demo Version has limited features (see below ), but isn’t time limited. Additionnaly it doesnt require a dongle, nor a serial number.

3- Ask for a Time Limited full version license

You can therefore save your presets and settings, and have access to all parameters , and you can begin to work at once on professional projects.

However, this version is time limited, requires a USB dongle for eLicencer or the iLok License Manager for iLok.
